It's that time of year - time to get rid of the winter blues and wet, cool weather of Spring. In Ayurveda, we cleanse twice a year, a gentle cleanse in the Autumn prepping the body for winter (Vata time of year), and in the Spring prepping the body for summer (Pitta time of year).
This month we will learn how to get the body and mind ready for summer through the ancient practice of Ayurveda. Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga and is one of the oldest forms of natural healing, designed to bring the body back into balance. This month we will focus on foods, yoga poses/breaths, self-care, and other means of cleansing the Ayurvedic way. Set yourself up for a healthier summer, balance digestive fires, and help remove excess ama from the body.
