Thanks for shopping at The Healthy Grocer! We appreciate your business and the fact that you enjoy healthy foods and supplements. We strive to make sure you have a rewarding experience while viewing and shopping for our products, whether you’re at our retail location or our online store.  

With our 24/7 credit card secure service, you can leisurely and conveniently shop The Healthy Grocer any time day or night, and send us your order online. 

ONLINE STORE POLICIES

Order Processing Time

Hours and Deadlines:

  • Pick-Up and Delivery orders placed between 8am-2pm EST Monday-Friday will be eligible for same day processing/delivery. All orders for Shipping will be processed next business day.

  • Delivery hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST.

  • Most orders (Groceries, Supplements, Health and Beauty products) require 2 hours advance notice before processing/delivery. Deli Lunch orders require 45 minutes advance notice. Deli Catering orders require 72 hours advance notice.

 

In-Store Pickup

The Healthy Grocer offers options for our online store customers to pick-up their order.  One of our Customer Service Associates will provide you with a courtesy call to let you know when your order is ready for pick-up.

You may designate a third party to pick-up your order.  When checking out online, in our note section during checkout, please make a notation of the name of the person who will be picking up your order.  The Healthy Grocer is not responsible for actions taken by a third party once your order has been picked up.

Shipping

We take pride in shipping our products UPS. Since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond our control once it leaves our retail store, The Healthy Grocer cannot be held liable for late or damaged deliveries. We will, however, strive to offer you quality products delivered promptly and safely.

The Healthy Grocer accepts orders from billing addresses within the United States. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship products to addresses outside of the U.S. 

Please note that for large orders, shipping costs may have to be corrected after the sale in order to account for the amount of boxes used.  A Customer Service Associate will gladly call you and walk you through the process if your order involves multiple containers.

We cannot currently ship any perishable or produce items.

The Healthy Grocer is not responsible for lost or stolen items if the receiving party is not home to receive the order. The driver is unable to take exchanges, cannot do refunds, cannot return items and does not take or accept money for the sale.

Delivery

Our minimum order for delivery is $50. All orders under $100 will include a delivery fee. All orders of $100 or more will be eligible for free delivery. Delivery for orders less than $50 is available for an additional fee. 

Delivery Fees:

  • Orders for delivery within 10 miles will be charged a $10 delivery fee. (17055, 17050, 17011, 17109, 17120, 17111, 17110, 17070).

  • Orders for delivery of 11-25 miles will be charged a $20 delivery fee. (17036, 17033, 17113, 17057, 17112, 17070, 17013, 17019).

  • Orders for delivery with a total sale of less than $50 and within 10 miles will be charged a $25 delivery fee. (17055, 17050, 17011, 17109, 17120, 17111, 17110, 17070).

  • Orders for delivery with a total sale of less than $50 and within 11-25 miles will be charged a $37.50 delivery fee. (17036, 17033, 17113, 17057, 17112, 17070, 17013, 17019).

 

The Healthy Grocer is not responsible for lost or stolen items if the receiving party is not home to receive the order. The driver is unable to take exchanges, cannot do refunds, cannot return items and does not take or accept money for the sale.

Returns

We believe that you will be satisfied with our hand-selected products.  However, we understand that sometimes a product may not be what you expected it to be.  In that event, we would like to make it as easy as possible for you to return said product.

 

You may return the unused portion (with your receipt) for a full refund or exchange:

  • Must be within 60 days of purchase

  • Special orders are non-refundable

  • All returns must be done in-person at our retail location

  • Just tell us you want to return it, and we make the rest... EASY! 

Online Coupons, Promotions and Discounts

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept manufacturer coupons, The Healthy Grocer store coupons, or apply Healthy Rewards card points or redemption, for online and phone orders. In lieu of these, we do have special promotions and discounts available on our e-commerce site periodically, which are exclusively for our online shoppers.

 

For store pick-up orders, Manufacturer Coupons may be redeemed in person for a refund for the face value of the coupon. All manufacturer coupons must be presented within one week of online order fulfillment, must be applicable to the sale, and have a valid expiration date.

 

Gift Cards and Store Credits

The Healthy Grocer offers opportunities to purchase gift cards both in-store and online. Gift Cards purchased online are available in increments of $25. Gift cards may only be redeemed in person.

Unfortunately, we are unable to process Store Credits through our e-commerce store.  Please visit our retail location to use such payment methods.

 

Product Availability and Limitations

Given the popularity of certain products, The Healthy Grocer may at times be out of stock of a product ordered online.  If such an instance occurs, one of our Customer Service Associates will provide you with a courtesy call.  At such time, you will have the option of removing that item from your order, to ship the order as is and ship the out of stock item at a later date when it is available, or hold the order until all products are in-stock.  In the event we cannot supply a product you ordered, The Healthy Grocer will refund the purchase price of the out of stock product.

 

Do you want to Special Order a product that you can‘t find in our online store? Email us with the information on the item you would like us to research for you. We‘ll contact you by telephone to confirm your order and take your payment information. 

 

Pricing, Sales, and Corrections

The Healthy Grocer reserves the right to change prices for products displayed on The Healthy Grocer online store at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. 

 

In the case of an error on a product price, you will be called to confirm the corrected price (if the correct price is higher than the price as shown on the online store).  Upon your approval, the adjustment will be made to your payment and will be promptly shipped.

 

The Healthy Grocer brings in hundreds of new items each month and while we would love to share these new items with you at our online store, it may not be possible to do so.  To learn more about our monthly new products on sale, please visit us at our retail store.

 

Online Product Limitation

While we would love to offer all of our products online, due to the changing market, we do not offer our special sale products on our website. To order produce for In-Store Pick-Up, please call us at (717) 737-5123.

Due to our shipping handlers, please note that perishable goods are available for in-store pick-up only.

Bulk products (beans, teas, coffee, granola, sprouts, spices, and wellness herbs, and more) may be purchased on our online store, along with weighed frozen meats (beef, poultry). Please note the designated quantity you choose when ordering, as all bulk items and weighed meats are sold by weight (pound or ounce).

Phone orders are held to the same restrictions as The Healthy Grocer online orders as stated above.

Coupons, Promotions and Discounts

All manufacturer and The Healthy Grocer coupons must be presented in person.

 

All manufacturer coupons must be printed and presented to a cashier during the sale.

 

The Healthy Grocer coupons offered by The Healthy Grocer may be presented via mobile or printed copy to a cashier during the sale. The Healthy Grocer coupons may not be combined with other offers (Healthy Grocer coupons, Healthy Rewards discounts, Senior discount). Any Healthy Grocer coupons presented by a third-party (Town Planner calendar), must be printed and presented to a cashier during the sale.
