Recipe: Maple Date Cookies
Enjoy Amber's recipe from The Healthy Grocer's annual Cookie Bake-off held on December 1, 2017.
Dry Ingredients:
2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Cinnamon
Wet Ingredients:
1/2 cup Butter
1/3 cup Maple Syrup
2 tbsp Flax Egg (2 tbsp Flax Oil, 6 tbsp Water)
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions:
Combine all dry ingredients except flour.
Make flax egg.
Combine all wet ingredients.
Mix in dry ingredients.
Fold in flour.
Mix in 1/3 cup chopped Dates.
Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
