Recipe: Mini Holiday Pies
1 can Woodstock Organic Whole Cranberry Sauce
2 tbs Woodstock Organic Pure Cane Sugar
1 tb organic butter, softened
Zest of a small orange
Package of 9 inch pastry dough
2 tbs organic milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine cranberry sauce, sugar, butter, and orange zest.
Roll out your favorite pastry dough, or make your own and line mini pie tins with the dough. Fill with cranberry mixture. Top with pastry dough. For festive pies, use cookie cutters to cut shapes into the dough before placing on top. Brush pies with milk for a golden crust.
Bake for 25 minutes or until the pie crust is golden.
