Mineral Fusion, a natural, mineral-based makeup and skincare line, wanted to contribute positively to social welfare through increasing awareness and compassion. Based in Denver, Colorado, Mineral Fusion began as a mineral cosmetics brand in 2007.
Mineral Fusion also offers a wide range of nail polish, hair care, body lotions, and skin care - each formulated to deliver the uniquely beneficial power of minerals. All of our products are made in the USA and many of them are still handmade. They focus on selecting effective natural ingredients, as well as making products free of gluten, parabens, talc, artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, SLS, and phthalates. Plus, they never conduct animal testing, and never will, nor do we ask others to do so. In addition to making carefully crafted, natural products, they are committed to sustainability and utilize wind power, soy inks, packaging from recycled materials and packaging that is recyclable. And they didn't stop there.
After learning that one in four women will experience violence in her lifetime, Mineral Fusion partnered with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence to help raise awareness of this growing problem and show these brave women that they are not alone.
The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV), also based in Denver, is a motivated organization that directly supports survivors of domestic violence, and operates a national campaign to raise awareness of this growing problem. The NCADV’s goals are to:
Eliminate domestic violence
Empower battered women and children
Promote and unify direct service programs
Alert and educate the public
An estimated 1.3 million women are victims of physical assault by a partner each year. Unfortunately, many of these incidents go unreported. For those women that do find the courage to leave their abuser, the journey back to a peaceful and healthy life is long. Did you know?
One in four women will experience domestic violence during her lifetime.
85% of domestic violence victims are women.
Historically, women have most often been victimized by someone they knew.
Females who are 20-24 years old are at the greatest risk.
Most cases of domestic violence are never reported to the police.
Mineral Fusion is committed to helping the NCADV achieve its goals. They donate a portion of their sales to support the organization’s mission, and donate product to the NCADV’s network of shelters.
